Marin Agricultural Land Trust, Marin Organic, and Marin Agricultural Institute are partnering to create the 10th annual Taste of Marin. These three organizations are key to creating a sustainable local food system for Marin County. Their efforts help support economic viability for all of our farmers and ranchers.

Your are invited to be a part of this local food movement.

Each of these organizations work together on behalf of local farms and the community. To create a viable local food system we must work to ensure our land is cared for and remains in agricultural production. Building direct connections between local farmers and customers and educating the public about Marin County's locally grown foods are important steps toward a truly sustainable agricultural system.

The Taste of Marin Event is a celebration of food grown in Marin County. Eaters will come together to savor the bounty of Marin's farmlands. The five course meal will feature an abundance of seasonal products grown by local farmers. The feast will be followed by delightful desserts and live music.

This year we are collaborating with Slow Food Nation, an event engaging tens of thousands of attendees coming together to learn how our everyday food choices affect our well being, our culture and the health of the planet. The Event has received the support of Mayor Gavin Newsom's office and the Fort Mason Foundation. Our collective vision is to demonstrate how it is both possible and delicious to eat food grown close to home.
